Hi. I'm Fiona Stewart. I set up Metamorphose to help children achieve their potential.
I am a passionate, professional and caring teacher and parent. While I firmly believe all children have tremendous potential, I am acutely aware of the demands today’s society imposes on parents and children alike.
There isn't always the time to offer the support or assistance that your child may need and this is where I hope to make an invaluable difference.
I have been a foundation phase teacher for many years - predominantly at local schools in Cape Town's northern suburbs - and graduated with a BA from UCT before completing my PGCE at UNISA where I also studied child psychology for three years.
Where I can help
I can assist with homework, projects / orals, test preparation, exam revision and general learning support.
Before lockdown, I ran Metamorphose from my home in Durbanville Hills using a newly built 60m2 outdoor room as the classroom. It has its own bathroom, chairs and tables for little ones and is equipped with all the necessary teaching aids.
Since lockdown, however, I've been using Zoom and Google Hangouts to facilitate tutoring.
My central location means I'm just a few minutes drive from Kenridge Primary School, Durbanville Primary School, Eversdal Primary and Gene Louw.
